Windows Vista 硬件評(píng)估解決方案加速器是一個(gè)可以列出清單、進(jìn)行評(píng)估以及生產(chǎn)報(bào)告的工具，幫助網(wǎng)絡(luò)管理者有效地檢測(cè)一個(gè)網(wǎng)絡(luò)中的多臺(tái)計(jì)算機(jī)(最多1萬臺(tái))是否已準(zhǔn)備好運(yùn)行 Windows Vista 操作系統(tǒng)。Windows Vista 硬件評(píng)估使用 Microsoft Windows中的技術(shù)。這些技術(shù)包括 Microsoft Active Directory 域名服務(wù)、 Computer Browser 服務(wù)，以及 Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI)。

目前，Windows Vista 硬件評(píng)估 2.0 Beta 版發(fā)布。可以通過 Connect 網(wǎng)站參加公開測(cè)試。正式版本預(yù)計(jì)于2007年下半年發(fā)布。
